Scar Camouflage (FUE & FUT Repair)

Scarring from hair transplant procedures such as FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) and FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) can often be a lingering reminder of past treatments — sometimes more visible than clients would like. At DEE SMP, our Scar Camouflage treatment is designed to blend these scars seamlessly into the surrounding hair and scalp, restoring a natural, uniform appearance.

This procedure is ideal for:

FUT patients with linear strip scars (typically stretching across the back of the scalp)

FUE clients with clusters of small, dimple-like scars in the donor region

Individuals looking to wear shorter hairstyles confidently without visible signs of surgery

Using advanced micropigmentation techniques and carefully matched pigments, we implant microdots into and around the scar tissue to reduce contrast, recreate follicular texture, and blend the area smoothly into the surrounding scalp. Our goal is to make the scar virtually invisible to the naked eye — whether the hair is kept short or shaved down completely.

Treatment breakdown:

Typically completed in 3 sessions of 2 to 3 hours each, depending on the size and type of scarring.

Specialised pigment application techniques ensure proper retention in scar tissue, which can be more fibrous and less porous than healthy skin

Sessions are spaced to allow for full healing and pigment settling between treatments
