Alopecia & Female Density Treatments

Hair loss isn’t always gradual — and for many clients, conditions like alopecia areata, totalis, or traction alopecia can result in patchy or widespread hair loss that deeply affects confidence and self-image. At DEE SMP, we offer tailored scalp micropigmentation solutions for women and men living with various forms of alopecia, delivering realistic coverage, improved density, and a renewed sense of self.

Alopecia Treatments
SMP is one of the most effective non-surgical options for individuals dealing with autoimmune-related hair loss, such as:

Alopecia Areata (patchy hair loss)

Alopecia Totalis (complete scalp hair loss)

Alopecia Universalis (total body hair loss)

Because alopecia can be unpredictable, each case is assessed individually through detailed photos and consultation. Full scalp treatments typically require:

4 to 6 sessions, each up to 4 hours.

Strategically layered pigment application, including the first pass, second pass, and final refinement, allowing for natural density and dimension

Adjustments based on pigment retention and healing across the affected areas

Our approach ensures we camouflage the effects of alopecia while restoring a uniform, full-scalp appearance that blends seamlessly with the client’s features and complexion.

Female Density Treatments
Female clients commonly experience diffuse thinning along the midline and top of the scalp, especially due to hormonal changes, stress, or genetics. In these cases, SMP is performed between existing hair follicles to create the illusion of fuller, denser hair.

Ideal for women with:

Thinning along the central parting

Hair loss due to postpartum, hormonal imbalance, or aging

Areas that lack density but still have natural hair present

Density treatments typically involve:

3 sessions of up to 4 hours each

Close blending of pigment into the scalp using ultra-fine impressions

Additional layering if needed to match surrounding density and skin tone

This technique is subtle yet powerful — providing the look of thicker, fuller hair without the need for wigs, toppers, or extensions.
